S & T Scholarships

S&T recognizes the financial burden that a college education can have on a family. In an effort to assist our area youth, S&T has implemented a program with ten post-secondary scholarships. Once a year, seniors will be selected from each of S&T's nine ILEC exchanges. The $250 scholarships are awarded on a semester basis and may be renewed up to seven times. An additional " At Large" scholarship will be awarded to one student from the original pool of applicants.

Requirements:

  • Must be a high school senior.

  • Must have a GPA of at least 2.5 (students not meeting this requirement must provide justification for waiving the requirement.)

  • Must reside with a parent/guardian who lives within one of the S&T's nine exchanges and is a member in good standing of the Cooperative. Cooperative exchanges are: Brewster, Dighton, Grinnell, Healy, Kanorado, Levant, Menlo, Russell Springs, and Winona.

Application:

  • Completed application

  • Copy of school grade transcript

  • Senior class picture or current photo of yourself

Applications are due March 15, 2007 and are available from the school counselor or an S&T office.  Recipients will be announced at the S&T annual meeting in April.  S&T is very proud to be able to contribute to the education of the youth of Northwest Kansas and wish them all the best in their journey toward a successful future.
