Mozilla® Mail (Windows)

Email server instructions for Oakley Nex-Tech® customers migrating to S&T Internet Services® these changes must occur on or after Feb 1st, 2008.

Printable Instructions

Step 1

1.      Click Start menu

2.      Click All Programs

3.      Click Mozilla

4.      Click Mail

 

Step 2

1.      Click Edit

2.      Click Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings…

 

Step 3                 

 

1.      Click Server Settings

 

This is the way settings should look before you make changes.

 

Step 4

1.      Change Server Name from pop3.ruraltel.net to pop3.st-tel.net

2.      Change User Name from jdoe@ruraltel.net to jdoe@st-tel.net

 

Step 5                 

 

1.      Click Outgoing Server (SMTP)

2.      This is the way settings should look before you make changes.

 

Step 6

1.      Change Server Name from smtp.ruraltel.net to smtp.st-tel.net

2.      Change User Name from jdoe@ruraltel.net to jdoe@st-tel.net to the account name
