S&T Free Upgrades

At S&T, our mission has always been to keep our communities connected. As we face the global outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we remain devoted to this mission wholeheartedly.

To this end, starting on Monday, March 23, S&T will take the following steps to help our students continue their education, empower professionals to work from home, and keep families connected:

  • S&T will upgrade all Broadband customers in Brewster, Levant, Dighton, Healy, Menlo, Russell Springs, Winona, Grinnell, Oakley, and Kanorado to 50Mbps for a minimum of sixty days at no cost to the customer.
  • S&T will upgrade 35Mbps customers in Colby and Goodland to 50Mbps at no cost to the customer.
  • S&T will ensure free access to our community WiFi hotspots (listed at www.stayconnected.life)

Because these speed upgrades do not require hardware upgrades, our team can make the modifications quickly and remotely. We do realize these upgrades will not affect all every S&T customer; however, we felt obligated to do the most we could as fast as we could for as many customers as possible. We continue to address the unique technological challenges affecting a minority of our customers.

While many of our employees work from home to protect their health and safety, we continue to work at full capacity. Be assured, S&T’s infrastructure is up and running as usual. Our technical support team remains dedicated to responding when necessary.

We are here to help you with every problem or question you might have. As always, you can find answers and support from customer service number 1 (800) 432-8294, and a new webpage www.stayconnected.life. We will continue to support the well-being of our employees, customers, and communities as we continue to prepare for the challenging times ahead.

We continue to stand by you.
